(2) Diablo Foods, my favorite grocery store anywhere!
(WONDERFUL meat department with awesome butchers to cater to
just what you need. Top quality fish, meat and poultry.)
(3) Lafayette Reservoir plus several other parks, hundreds of miles of hiking trails
(4) Lafayette downtown area with many shops and restaurants
(5) Beautiful setting, rolling hills
(6) Lafayette Park Hotel
(7) Small community feeling
(8)Top local schools
(9) Convenient to freeway

Gigi's,1005 Brown Ave., Lafayette, 925-962-0882, (used to be Kaffe Barbara) very popular, great fish tacos.

Chow's Lafayette, 53 Lafayette Circle, Lafayette, 925-962-2469 (Lafayette restaurant in La Fiesta Square that's become an instant hit. My favorite restaurant spot in Lafayette for casual dining. Very informal, simple, good food. Grab a table outside in good weather.)
